Backpacking Injury

A recent backpacking trip was cut short when Isaac's pocket knife closed unexpectedly and got stuck in the bone of his pinky finger. He got eight stitches and after almost three weeks his finger looks as normal as it it going to look.
The night the injury occurred.

His pinky bone is just fine and is expected to heal normally.

The stitches are out! My friend who is a wound specialist came by and checked it out for me after I was worried it wasn't healing well. She said it looks great and it will probably always have that puckered look, due to the nature of the wound. But hey, the ladies love scars, right?

Lego Architecture Set

Worth every penny.

The kids love creating their own buildings with all the unique bricks.

Even with friends they can design a house. This one has a roof top bar, grill, and outdoor toilet. As well as furniture inside.

Chocolate Cheese Cake

Someone was excited to try the new dessert created by her older brother!

For a brief 20 minutes the squawking from Evelyn ceased and the wonders of chocolate were discovered.

Mmmmm. Chocolate coma

What? Who needs a bath? Me?

Yeah, maybe I did!

Guest Post By Margaret

Last night I went to my friend Alexias' b-day party. I was very excited and couldn't wait to go. At 3:30 pm Papa drive me to Alexias' house. Her house was very nice. When we got to the place where the party was being held, Leslie and McKenna (two of our friends) were already there. We all dressed up and walked down the stage. After that, the lady told us to give our most Diva look. Then we made lip gloss. Mine was purple. Then we went and had a tea party and ate pizza. I had five pieces of pizza! Then we got our nails done. Mine were red. We did hair dye and make-up. I dyed my hair rainbow, it smelled like bamboo. After that we got to dress up a mom. The mom I dressed up looked like a fairy. We had cake and then opened presents. Alexias gave me the other half of her BFF necklace. Then I went home. I had so much fun!!!
