Our Snowy Weekend

Last weekend Winter Storm Jonas dumped an extra ten inches of snow on us, for a total of almost 18 inches! WE LOVED IT! The kids have been waiting for it to snow and we played for hours outside. It was a wonderful weekend!

Time's a wasting, lets build a snow slide!

The goal of the snow slide is the fence in the far neighbors yard.

Margaret and her little friends.

What is James up to now? Something sneaky for sure...

Malcolm is in on it as well...

Shoveling the sidewalk? No....

There's a brother under there!!!!

Okay, not safe! But that is why kids have extra guardian angels.

After two days the snow slide gets within five feet of our goal.

Isaac taking a run.

So close!!!!

Henry and His Violin

After years of asking, Henry was finally granted his wish of starting the violin. He has until summer to show us that he can handle the responsibility of playing two instruments. He is a month into lessons and so far is doing great! Go Henry!

Funny Guy

A typical conversation with the littlest man in the house:

"I bet you that not smart people just eat candy and they die. They ride bikes with no helmets. They don't eat salad and they think brushing their teeth is bad."

"Yeah, you wouldn't want to be a superhero and kill a bad guy, because then there'd be no bad guys."

"This is a secret. Can I have a hot dog bun with two of my kinds on the hot dog, not the bun?" Translation: A hot dog with nutella and biscoff spread on it.

A Drawing For Me

Margaret gave me a wonderful drawing when I got home tonight. Notice my patchwork skirt. Her hair is in braids and mine is down. Her shirt says "I love mama" and my shirt says "I love lime water. " Ha ha. I guess it's better than I love beer or I love mojitos!!!!

Isaac at School
