We had a great time trick or treating with several dozen of our closest friends(and no one got lost, bit by a dog, or chased by a psycho with a chain saw) and of course had our annual potluck afterwards. It seems silly that the kids aren't allowed to trick or treat at night, and sometimes not even on the actual date of Halloween, but the potluck makes it all worth it.
James and Isaac are old enough to pal around with their friends, and that probably contributed to the "didn't lose a kid" aspect. Michael and Henry went with a friend and his family, and I had a dozen adult friends to help me keep track of my two littles. Everyone had a great time and the kids got so much candy that they sent a care package to Grandpa Bob.
Not our pumpkins.
