This week the Workbox of the Week is an idea from ARTistic Pursuits, which I recently reviewed on this blog. I highly recommend these art programs. Not only are they affordable, but they are easy to use and offer very valuable art history lessons as well as skill practice.
Thumb-print people is a very fun way for your child to explore art materials and creatively express themselves. Simply have your child dip her thumb in paint and make thumbprints on paper. When the prints are dry, have your child add facial and body features to their print.
