Do you notice how many great reviews I get to do on this blog? Are you interested in reviewing awesome homeschooling and home products on your blog? The Old Schoolhouse is now accepting applications for the upcoming review year. The year runs from January 2013 until November 2013.
I have really enjoyed being on The Schoolhouse Review Crew and besides getting a bunch of cool free stuff, you also form connections with tons of cool folks all over the country.
Margaret was working on the Letter 'O' this week and created the cutest little octopus.
She also created a friend for her octopus that was hurt and needed to get around in a "rolling chair."
We have a very strict "No food outside of the kitchen or dining room" rule. It's just one of many ways I struggle to keep a handle on things around here.
We're doing a great job teaching this rule to Malcolm.
What a stinker.
Do you know about Smash Books? My boys each have one and they love it. You can totally do it with just a plain notebook, but there is an added element when you add the textured book with the fun pages. Plus, if you are careful then you can find them cheap.
Margaret drew a lovely picture of herself Trick or Treating.
Can you tell that she is all dressed up? And can you see Malcolm in the picture with her?
In-house soccer ends this week and I am looking forward to a little relief in the soccer department. Especially now since it gets dark so early and the soccer park is almost ten degrees colder than in town. James still goes for another couple weeks, then we have a few weeks off and then indoor soccer starts. I know Isaac is playing indoor for sure. Not sure about James since his game day would be Saturday and I really dislike having commitments on Saturday.
