Adoption Update: It seems as though we have unfortunately been caught up in some kind of licensing delay. Our agency needs to be re-licensed, something that happens every year. The process was started in May and because of some agency guy sitting on the paperwork for months on end we are unable to move forward at this time. Enter HUGE sigh here.
We were assured, however, that we have done everything we can at this point and that as soon as the renewal comes through we are set to go!
So I started this walking challenge with some friends. The idea is simple. Everyone pays five bucks and for one month you keep track of your steps using a pedometer. Winner takes the cash, except for the second place winner who will get back their money.
It starts today and there are seven of us I think. I'll let you know in a month how we're doing.
Funny stuff: At dinner James got up to get a drink and Isaac asks, "Where are you going James?" Without missing a beat James replies, "I'm going to build a rocket ship to go to the moon."
Margaret had a terrible dream where I didn't like her. She cried and cried while telling me, her little body shaking and sobbing.
Later that morning I hear a large crash followed by Malcolm crying. I called up the stairs to find out what happened and Margaret was walking down the stairs and replied, "Malcolm just learned that no body likes him." Talk about sharing the love!
Ugg. I'm only on number five and I just granted Henry a break after about 20 minutes of school work so I could continue this.
Some weeks are just a few Quick Takes short of a full post.
