Ghost in the Head

A girlfriend hosted a Native American group at her house for a fun field trip day for the kids. The group represented the Huron Indians who were local to our area.

Making a beaded bracelet while learning the significance of each bead.

Building a wigwam.

Eating. Always eating.

Launching his atlatl. The atlatl are six feet long with a metal pointed tip. I am hoping that we survive the usage of these without injuries.

It was an incredible day and a fantastic way to end our school year!

What fun! Hands on learning is my favorite style.

Looks like a lot of fun! I'd like to try out the atlatl myself. ;-)

That looks like so much fun! My little guy is forever eating, too. I am worried what it will be like to feed him when he is a teenager! Ha!
