7 Quick Takes

Malcolm is still spitting up a lot. All my kids have been spitters, but this is crazy spitting. The doctor wants to put him on medicine which~ get this~ won't help the spitting, but will relieve any discomfort he may be having. He would need to be on it for about a year. Forget that!

Malcolm is not a discriminate spitter and on Sunday he spit-up into the purse of the gal sitting in front of us. Uhh, gross.

Who cares if he is gross? This baby is cute!

Soccer is going great. James' team won their first game 11 to 3. He loves it and is a different kid with soccer in his life.

Is it obvious that I am trying to scratch these out so that I can watch an episode of The Walking Dead? Can you say "awesome!"?

Do you know how hard it is to find a stupid Barbie horse that is not outrageously overpriced? I found some on ebay that the original price was $19.99 for doll and horse, Buy It Now price of $50. Screw that!

Despite all my ranting my week was pretty sweet and next week is looking to be even better. And of course the week after that will be great with Isaac's birthday and the arrival of my in-laws for Christmas. This is when I start to love the Christmas season. Not so much the saturation of the consumer culture, but the excitement in the air and the anticipation of my kids for the birth of our Lord and Savior.
