Baby, it's cold outside!

The high today was about 25 degrees, so the kids spent most of the day inside. Mike did take them out in the afternoon and they built a snow ramp from the ice covered deck to the backyard. No pictures were taken, so you will have to imagine the fun. We did, however, set up the bouncer in the playroom upstairs. I had all sorts of reservations about this (mainly that they would bounce out of the third floor windows onto the street below). Besides several bumped heads and crushed limbs, everything turned out okay.

Margaret enjoyed the bouncer from the outside. She was terrified to be inside.

It didn't take long for the boys to figure out that one can stand on the toy shelves or the play kitchen and jump into the bouncer by jumping over the walls. This discovery provided another hour of fun. I couldn't shake the picture in my mind of them bouncing out the windows, so I retreated downstairs.

Cheer up! It was -11 degrees here when we got up in on Wed. and yesterday was the the first day in a while that it got up 21, though 15 mph winds made it feel like 10 degrees. Can you tell that my kids are driving me bananas?! Where did you get the bouncer?

Yeah, on Friday it was in the negatives, so Saturday felt like a heat wave. The bouncer is from a yard sale and it works well with my pint sized kids because the weight limit is like 150lbs.
