Time to Admit Defeat

After several weeks the potty chart remains empty. We have read, bribed, pleaded, and begged. Not one drop of liquid (or other) has reached the inside of the porclein bowl. I think it may be safe to say that he is just not ready.
As far as the Catechist of the Good Shephard Program, there's always next year.

Hey, cheer up...we celebrate Peter's 3rd birthday next week, and the closest he has come is sitting on the little potty with his pants still on, LOL. He has a potty poster, too, but Chris broke down and gave him some tiny stickers just for sitting on the potty in his pants...he has exactly 4 stickers on it and it's been up there for weeks and weeks---definitely not ready.

Tyler is in the same boat. Definitely not ready. We've tried the candy trick for when he uses the potty, but he won't even go with that type of bribery. Guess I'll just have to wait for him to be ready too. Hang in there... it will happen eventually.

Sounds like Miriam's potty chart! We finally took it down after about nine months (yes, I was pregnant). You can be comforted in some small measure by the fact that he won't go to college in diapers.
