Isaac is not only our sensitive boy, he also seems to be our philosophical boy as well. At dinner tonight he asked my dad (who is visiting from Oregon), "Why can't you see through walls?"
Now, there are many ways to interpret this. He could be asking why my dad specifically can't see through walls, or he may be asking why people in general can't see through them. He may be curious about the structure of the human eye and how it coordinates with the brain to produce sight. He may want to know about the chemical composition of concrete.
So we asked him, "Why do you think?" He smiled and answered, "Because there's no glass."
I was thinking way too much on that one.
